In 2019, Vanessa took up the challenge of creating a range of textile items that revolves around children, a comforting world with pretty materials so that your pretty kids can flourish in a universe of tenderness and love.
A face, a story
I always dreamed of opening my own shop. As a little girl, I shared moments of knitting with my mother and my grandmother, then as a teenager, I had fun sewing clothes for "my future fashion shows".
I have long sought my place professionally, always with a foothold in commerce, finance & customer service, environments that are not always very delicate.
Like many mothers, motherhood showed me life differently and led me to ask myself questions.
It was after the birth of my second child that I decided to start.
Soft, practical and pretty
When I create a model, these three words resonate in my head: soft, practical and pretty. Each product designed therefore has a use in the child's daily life. The teething ring for teething, the hooded blanket to go out covered, the cuddly toy to reassure baby... Unique
It is in the heart of my Arras workshop that each product is thought out, drawn, carefully made according to your desires. Concerned about quality, I work in close collaboration with French craftsmen and European service providers.
Ethics
I wanted to focus on quality, beautiful soft materials & beautiful certified yarns, which respect the environment and above all to offer the best for the skin of toddlers.
Nothing is lost
I try to optimize my raw materials as much as possible in order to avoid waste because you can already create something from a small piece of fabric.
The new range of tenderness comforters was born from the scraps of fabric from the blankets.
